Octopus took part in the “World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF) 2022”!
WEIF was held between March 28–31, 2022 at Dubai Expo as an integral part of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2022. AIM is the largest global investment forum and rests on four main pillars: Startups, SMEs, Future Cities and Foreign Direct Investment.
AIM's theme was “Investing in Sustainable Innovation for a Thriving Future.”
With the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” WEIF 2022 focused on bringing together different cultures and regions to improve responses to global challenges.
The forum also emphasized the importance of empowering women across all economic levels, as well as in entrepreneurship, in the innovative age we live in. As stated: “We encourage the active participation of women in all sectors through entrepreneurship and innovation.”
While discussing important tactics for sustainable development, it was also stressed how important it is to develop and implement strong economic policies, legislation and programs, and to ensure the empowerment of women at the national, regional and global levels.
For years, WEIF has supported young entrepreneurs on their journey to becoming business leaders. This year, the organization and participants made significant contributions on this front.
