Octopus Raised $6.5 Million in Funding Led by Kigili!

Octopus, which aims to eliminate the two core problems of the digital signage category — the need for industrial screens and the challenge of content creation — raised $6.5 million in an early-stage funding round led by Kigili, with the participation of Sistem Global (SGlobe) and Cosmova.

After calling ourselves “more than digital signage,” we tried to come a long way in a short time to achieve it. Striving to be a SaaS model that builds interaction between the cashier and the seller, between social media and screens, between the customer and the brand, required exactly this. Most importantly for us, it was about making sure you can use your screens as efficiently as possible through the software we've built.

Our main motivation during the investment process was the user-based advertising and AI-based measurement and optimization we developed, and we're very pleased with the result. Our founder Emre Yildiz, with many years of experience in the retail sector, understands what retail needs, and we're extremely happy to see the developments created with that understanding meeting real needs in the field.

We believe we'll keep achieving one success after another thanks to the innovative solutions we find for the industry's gaps.
